Our client operates a large table linen rental service business based in Neptune, NJ. Client has grown considerably over the past ten years and as they expand into the e-commerce space, they are seeking an E-Commerce and Marketing Manager to lead the Online Sales Division and also execute company wide marketing strategy and campaigns.
 
Job Summary:
As the E-commerce and Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of a strategic marketing plan aimed at driving the growth of the e-commerce sales platform. You will collaborate with the leadership team and external marketing partners to craft company-wide marketing initiatives, enhancing the company's brand presence. Additionally, you will manage the company’s websites, social media accounts, and all other marketing assets, while partnering with the sales team to boost annual revenue.
 
Qualified candidates will have: Experience building an e-commerce department (preferably with WooCommerce), and digital marketing experience including web design, SEO, social media, etc.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor the E-Commerce team to achieve business objectives.
  • Enhance and customize the WordPress and WooCommerce web store, optimizing functionalities and plugins to align with business goals.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at increasing revenue and expanding market share.
  • Responsible for the daily operations of the online sales division. This includes overseeing customer service, order processing, procurement, and overall functionality of the business.
  • Create engaging marketing content, including social media posts, emails, and promotional materials to attract and retain customers.
  • Build a comprehensive content strategy, including product descriptions, blog posts, videos, and other media to engage and inform the target audience.
  • Apply SEO best practices to improve search rankings, boost organic traffic, and enhance overall online visibility.
  • Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to foster customer relationships, promote products, and drive repeat purchases.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engage with followers, and direct traffic to the e-commerce platform and company website.
  • Oversee and manage website content to ensure it aligns with marketing and business objectives.
  • Leverage analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
  • Generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and channels.
  • Monitor campaign spending to ensure alignment with budget goals while achieving desired outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations, introducing new initiatives that contribute to business growth.
  • Analyze trends, compare performance to historical data, and present findings to the team, driving improvements based on insights.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with available resources.
  • Continuously test and explore new digital opportunities with current and potential partners to optimize performance and growth.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record of driving online sales growth.
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, including the creation and execution of multi-channel campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience building, customizing, and optimizing e-commerce websites, with a strong preference for expertise in WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site in Neptune, NJ. This leader will be very involved in day-to-day processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and streamlining processes to drive efficiency and growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be a self-motivated, creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in overseeing website technical structure, design, user experience (UX), content, branding, marketing strategies, and promotions.
  • Proficient in web analytics, A/B testing, and SEO best practices to enhance online performance.
