This Outside Sales Rep will focus on new business account development for our client's workplace apparel/uniform and facility services business line. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, presenting service programs, and meeting a sales quota. Outside Sales Reps will work remotely, in the field, and from the client's corporate office (hybrid).

We're hiring in the Northwest Indianapolis-area territory:

  • NW/Central Indianapolis and extending out the I-65 corridor to Clermont, Brownsburg, Lebanon, Ulen, Thorntown, Dayton, and to Lafayette, plus some surrounding areas.
  • NW Marion County, Boone County, Tippecanoe County, Hendricks County, plus some surrounding areas.
Prospective customers are: manufacturing, warehouse/distribution, healthcare and commercial service industries

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and cold calling business clients in the field (in person). Example clients are industrial and automotive businesses.
  • Developing and qualifying leads within respective territory using cold call selling techniques and lead generation strategies.
  • Providing prospective customers with customized solutions of products and services such as uniform lease, rental, laundering and maintenance.
  • Meet regular sales quota and sales activity targets.
  • Researching the market to gather information on prospective new customers and other relative market information.
  • Entering initial orders for new customers and preparing agreements.
  • Coordinate initial deliveries with the new customers and route sales representatives.
  • Maintaining notes in CRM on customers and prospective future customers. Prepare sales activity reports on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of quota-driven outside sales experience
  • Industry experience (uniform service or linen service) a plus but not required
  • Must exhibit superior prospecting, presentation, negotiation and closing skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation and desire to succeed
  • Familiar with market
  • Clean driver’s license
