Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Commercial Landscape Superintendent to lead the successful execution of landscape installation projects. This role is responsible for overseeing crews, managing on-site activities, ensuring quality control, maintaining schedules, and coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in the field and takes pride in delivering high-quality landscape installations on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all on-site landscape installation activities, including layout, planting, irrigation, hardscapes, and lighting.

  • Coordinate daily with crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Interpret landscape construction plans and specifications to guide installation work.

  • Ensure that all work meets or exceeds company standards, job specifications, and client expectations.

  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.

  • Conduct job site inspections for safety, quality, and compliance.

  • Manage materials and equipment deliveries, inventory, and usage on job sites.

  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and resolve any issues that arise during installation.

  • Train, mentor, and lead crews to achieve performance and safety standards.

  • Complete and submit daily job logs, timesheets, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial landscape installation or construction supervision.

  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and specifications.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel to various job sites.

  • OSHA safety training or certifications preferred.
