Job Title: Business Developer – Commercial Landscape Maintenance & Installation
Location: Hall County, GA
Overview:A well-established commercial landscaping company is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Developer to join its team in Hall County, GA. This individual will play a key role in expanding both the maintenance and installation divisions by building strong relationships with property managers, developers, and general contractors, while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Generates new leads and secures contracts for commercial landscape maintenance and installation services.
Builds and maintains long-term client relationships by understanding their property and project needs and providing customized service solutions.
Researches local market trends and identifies new prospects across commercial, HOA, and municipal sectors.
Partners with internal teams to develop accurate proposals, service plans, and presentations that reflect company capabilities and client expectations.
Manages the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial outreach to contract negotiation and close.
Attends networking events, industry functions, and trade shows to promote services and grow the business network in Hall County and surrounding areas.
Provides regular updates on pipeline activity, market feedback, and performance metrics to company leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Horticulture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in business development or sales within the commercial landscaping industry, including both maintenance and installation.
Strong knowledge of landscape services, seasonal maintenance requirements, and construction processes.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
