Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the facilities management department, ensuring seamless functionality and safety.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and schedules, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely project completion.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, providing training and development opportunities to foster growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining all relevant documentation and safety standards.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for contracted work, managing RFP processes, and evaluating bids.
• Implement risk management strategies and maintain emergency preparedness plans.
• Support construction and renovation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and compliance with all safety codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field required.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in acute care facility management, including major utility systems oversight.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Certifications such as CHFM, CHC, or CHE are considered a plus.
