Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)

Reports To: Director of Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting and Finance Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving financial excellence and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and investor reports for senior management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Lead and manage the accounting team by setting objectives, offering guidance, and delegating responsibilities effectively.
• Oversee daily fund cash management, including the development of cash flow projections and conducting thorough analyses.
• Administer fund debt facilities, including handling extensions, draws, repayments, and ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Coordinate and manage annual financial audits for multiple entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the industry.
• Proficient in Excel and familiarity with financial software, with a preference for Sage.
• Excellent written and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive under time constraints.
• Experience in commercial real estate accounting and finance is an asset.
