We are seeking a skilled Engineer with expertise in networking and end user support. This role will primarily focus on providing technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues, managing printers, and administering password-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both desktop support and networking, with the ability to work in a hybrid remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and networking.
  2. Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  4. Manage and maintain printers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  5. Administer password-related tasks such as password resets and account management.
  6. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operation of all systems, networks, and applications.
  7. Document technical processes and procedures for future reference.
  8. Stay current with technological developments in desktop support, networking, and related areas.
  9. Provide occasional on-site support as needed.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding IT security and compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience working in desktop support roles, with strong knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  2. Experience in networking administration, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and LAN/WAN technologies.
  3. Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
