Inside Sales Representative

Full-Time

Fontana, CA

Compensation DOE: Up to $85K

Seeking a high energy, experienced Inside Sales Representative who thrives on engaging customers, uncovering new opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This individual will play a pivotal role in both prospecting new business and supporting our current customer base across inside and outside sales activities.

Inside Sales Representative Key Responsibilities

  • Actively identify, research, and prospect new potential customers, setting up qualified sales calls and meetings for yourself and the team.
  • Support the outside sales process by preparing materials, scheduling appointments, and following up on leads and inquiries.
  • Manage incoming requests for quotes (RFQs) and prepare accurate pricing proposals in coordination with Operations, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Review customer purchase orders for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and enter orders into the ERP system.
  • Provide proactive customer communication, including order status updates, lead-time information, and solutions to issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, quotes, and activity logs in CRM or ERP systems.
  • Participate in customer calls, video conferences, or in-person meetings as required.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints or quality issues in a professional manner.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and customer experience.

Inside Sales Representative Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or at least 8+ years of inside sales, account management, or business development experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial products sector.
  • Proven track record of prospecting success, pipeline development, and setting up high-value sales calls and meetings.
  • Experience managing complex customer accounts, with strong skills in problem-solving and customer service.
  • Proficient in reviewing customer contracts, purchase orders, and terms & conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and commercial objectives.
  • Proficient in using internet-based tools for sales prospecting, lead generation, and research, including LinkedIn and online business databases.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
