We are seeking a strategic and analytical Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager – Back Office to lead AR operations and connect the dots between AR, Revenue Integrity, and Financial Close. This role requires a deep understanding of AR processes, revenue recognition, reserve analysis, aging, and their impact on the general ledger and profit & loss (P&L) statements. The ideal candidate will go beyond day-to-day operations to bring strategic oversight and insight into the AR lifecycle, especially during their ongoing Epic stabilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive AR rundown efforts, interpreting complex AR data and trends in a post-go-live Epic environment.
• Strategically manage the AR function by aligning processes with revenue recognition, reserves, and financial close requirements.
• Serve as a key liaison between Revenue Integrity, Finance, and other operational teams to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
• Oversee and manage outsourced AR and billing functions with a high degree of rigor and accountability.
• Monitor and analyze aging reports, reserves, and general ledger impacts; provide insights and corrective strategies as needed.
• Confidently respond to inquiries from external auditors related to quarterly disclosures, ensuring compliance and transparency.
• Support ongoing process improvements to enhance AR effectiveness and overall revenue cycle performance.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare AR management, with strong knowledge of revenue recognition, aging, reserves, and GL.
• Experience in Epic is preferred.
• Proven track record in leading AR functions through change, audit, and operational optimization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, especially in fast-paced or transitional environments.
