We are seeking a Controller for a FQHC who oversees the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role is responsible for managing the accounting team, preparing financial statements, overseeing audits, maintaining internal controls, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI for financial reporting and analytics, OCHIN Epic for revenue cycle integration, MTP for general ledger management, and Adaptive for budgeting and forecasting. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential to support both finance and operational teams in achieving the organization’s mission-driven goals. This is a full time, long term contract opportunity that is remote with some travel onsite to the West Coast. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and produce timely financial statements.
  • Develop and monitor budgets using Adaptive; support long-term financial planning.
  • Generate and analyze reports using Power BI to guide financial decisions.
  • Ensure accurate revenue reporting and reconciliation through OCHIN Epic.
  • Coordinate annual audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise finance staff and promote continuous process improvement.

Key Requirements: 

  • Experience working as a Controller at a FQHC.
  • 5+ years of Controller experience.
  • Flexibility with onsite requirements.
