As President, you manage the overall local business of the subsidiary, report to the Managing Director at HQ and collaborate closely with business units at HQ relevant to you. With sustainability and long-term focus, you are responsible for the development and implementation of the local strategy, which is derived from the global strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities

Understand the tasks and needs of your teams/employees and empower them to thrive in their roles
(Further) development, implementation and responsibility of the local strategy in coordinationwith the overall strategy of the company
Create and implement local strategy and business plans and derive action plans to increaserevenue, market share and profit on a sustainable basis
Implement and update processes, where necessary, along the lines of HQ processes
Budget and P&L responsibility
Responsibility for defined End – 2 - End processes under consideration of local adaptions
Responsible for local organizational development
Comply with government/legal regulations
Develop contingency plans for emergencies
Representation of the subsidiary in the respective country/region
Voice of subsidiary, team and local market into HQ
As a global Manager
Active team member within the Management Group
Close exchange and cooperation with HQ, the corresponding interfaces and other subsidiaries
Initiate and (Co-)design of corporate development
Experience
5-10 years’ experience in sales and marketing of technical products (B2B)
Several years of experience in a leadership or management role
Working in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
Understanding of European/German and local (company) culture and ability to translate this into the respective other culture
Skills
