Key Responsibilities
  • Help establish the U.S. subsidiary in the field of industrial automation and controls
  • Develop a tailored portfolio of products and services for the U.S. market in close collaboration with German headquarters
  • Identify and acquire new customers, including:
    o U.S.-based OEMs and subsidiaries of German industrial firms operating in the U.S.
    o Engineering and construction companies in the lime processing and heavy industry sectors
    o U.S. firms seeking Siemens or Rockwell/Allen Bradley-based automation solutions and services
  • Build and manage a strong CRM system and sales pipeline to generate consistent deal flow
  • Serve as the face of the business in the U.S., building relationships and trust across industries and networks
  • Support the scaling of the U.S. entity, including structure, staffing, and operations based on market needs
  • Expand and nurture customer relationships with a focus on long-term value
  • Grow their presence in targeted verticals and associations, especially in the lime processing industry
  • Achieve specific sales growth targets aligned with the company’s U.S. strategy
 
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in automation and control technologies, including hands-on knowledge of Siemens PLC (TIA Portal, S7) and Rockwell/Allen Bradley systems
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or customer-facing roles in industrial automation
  • Technical degree in Controls, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation markets and customer requirements
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a startup-style environment
  • Cross-cultural competence and ability to collaborate effectively with German headquarters
