Senior Manager, Global Internal Audit

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Global Internal Audit will lead complex audit engagements across global business units and corporate functions. This role provides strategic oversight, ensures audit quality, and partners with executive stakeholders to strengthen internal controls and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate brings strong audit leadership experience, global exposure, and the ability to manage a high-performing team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end global audit engagements, including planning, execution, reporting, and remediation follow-up.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of direct reports, ensuring high performance and alignment with department goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the development of the annual audit plan.
  • Present audit findings to senior leadership and collaborate with business partners on corrective action plans.
  • Evaluate internal controls, operational procedures, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting accuracy across global regions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, risk, operations, and technology teams to strengthen control frameworks.
  • Support special projects, investigations, and advisory engagements as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive internal audit, public accounting, or risk management experience within global environments.
  • Certifications required: CPA, CIA, or CISA.
  • Proven experience managing direct reports and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX, audit methodology, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, executive-level presentation skills, and the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Travel up to 30%.

 

Compensation

The compensation for this role is based on the candidate’s background, experience, skills, and overall qualifications.

  • Salary Range: $160,000 – $175,000
  • Annual Bonus: Competitive annual bonus target available for this role.
