Cybersecurity Sr. Auditor

Location: Chicagoland area | Hybrid

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Auditor to join the internal audit team and provide expert oversight across enterprise security programs. This role focuses on evaluating security controls, identifying risks, and partnering with Information security teams to strengthen defenses in a dynamic environment. This is a high-visibility role offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support audits across core cybersecurity domains, including vulnerability management, SOC operations, penetration testing/red teaming, and insider threat monitoring.
• Evaluate control effectiveness, remediation timelines, and risk exposure.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of Cybersecurity or IT audit experience.
• Core Expertise (depth in at least one area required):
• Vulnerability Management (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7)
• Security Operations (SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar)
• Penetration Testing/Red Teaming (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap)
• Insider Threat Program Support (UBA/UEBA, DLP, data exfiltration monitoring)

Compensation:  Annual base salary ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
