The AI Security Senior Engineer will play a critical role in securing enterprise-wide AI platforms, applications, and cloud environments. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing security controls that protect AI models, data pipelines, and cloud-hosted infrastructures. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, cybersecurity leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure that AI technologies are deployed securely and compliant with corporate and regulatory standards.
Design and implement security controls for AI models, data pipelines, LLMs, and enterprise AI applications.
Lead security risk assessments and threat modeling for AI/ML systems and related cloud services.
Build, deploy, and secure AI products across the enterprise in partnership with engineering and architecture teams.
Develop secure coding standards, guardrails, and best practices for generative AI, model training, and model deployment.
Monitor and evaluate emerging threats targeting AI systems and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to secure infrastructure, identity, API gateways, and workloads in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments related to AI and application security.
Support incident response for AI-related security events and ensure proper remediation.
Provide expert guidance to senior leadership and influence the direction of the company’s AI security program.
10+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, or application security.
Proven experience building and deploying AI products at enterprise scale.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Expertise in securing LLMs, AI/ML toolchains, APIs, containers, and serverless architectures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with engineering and executive teams.
Compensation for this role is based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
Annual Salary Range: $200,000–$300,000
Additional Compensation: Annual bonus target + Long-Term Incentive (LTI)
