Sr. IAM Engineer - Okta

Company: $40 billion publicly traded company

Location: Chicago, IL or Remote

For local candidates, this role worked remote 4 days/week and onsite 1 day/week
For out of state candidates, this role works fully remote with occasional travel (15-20%)

Key Information

This role is responsible for executing a portion of the IAM roadmap and strategy relating to bringing vendor-managed/hosted platforms internally. As part of this initiative, this role will help to develop the company's first non-vendor managed/hosted digital platform using Okta and influence IAM strategy enterprise wide.
Team Size: 20 within a 100+ Information Security team. This role will collaborate with 2 other Sr. IAM Engineers.
Reports to the Senior Manager of IAM.
Growth path: Strong growth opportunity to a management role with oversight managing an Analyst and Junior Engineer.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of experience developing and administering IAM solutions using Okta or a similar tool.
2. Basic scripting experience - PowerShell, VBScript, SQL, etc.
3. SSO SAMP2.0 is a plus
