Position Description: As an exceptionally organized and proactive Human Resource (HR) Specialist,you will provide a combination of overseeing Caliola’s organizational processes, and the peopleprocesses/HR functions, to ensure Caliola’s Core Values and processes are followed by all. In this role,you will be instrumental in refining and optimizing our talent acquisition strategy by managing thefull-cycle recruitment process, from conducting initial screening calls to coordinating interviews withkey stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with leadership to align hiring strategies with businessobjectives and ensure transparent communication throughout.
Roles & Responsibilities: Support the Executive Team in creating an employee-oriented, high-performance culturewhere Caliola’s core values are followed by all. Ensures that all human resource programs, practices, and policies comply with applicable lawsand regulations. Help solve complex problems and assist in recommending, developing, drafting (via Visio), andimplementing new processes and analysis. As such, this role will assist in gathering, verifying,and processing documentation and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan andaccomplish assigned tasks. Develops human resource plans and strategies to meet organizational requirements, employeesafety, welfare, wellness, and health. Handle company-confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and maintainthe highest level of professionalism as a trusted individual supporting Caliola. Responsible for coordinating employee relations activities and facilitating the resolution ofemployment concerns. Responsible for labor agreement administration, reviews disciplinary cases and makerecommendations. Investigates and settles grievances under established grievance procedure. Prepares or assists in the preparation of briefs for arbitration cases; may conduct presentationsat hearings. Investigates complaints from federal, state, and local agencies. Conducts instructional sessions for supervisory personnel regarding contract interpretation andcompliance with company policies. Perform audits or compiles periodic and special reports on labor matters as needed. Monitor company or workforce adherence to labor agreements.Please apply for this position at: www.caliola.com/JoinUs Prepare and submit required governmental reports or forms related to labor relationsmatters, such as equal employment opportunity (EEO) reporting, VETs-4212 reporting, E-Verify, minority compensation reports, etc. Train managers and other employees on topics related to labor relations, such as workingconditions, safety, or equal opportunity practices. Assist with the administration of employee benefits in all operations. Knowledgeable in all planofferings and provides special guidance and assistance to all locations on various employeegroup benefit plans. Administers, implements, and maintains employee benefits plans. Assists in administeringemployee group insurance and benefits programs such as retirement plans, health, life andaccidental death policies, temporary disability insurance, and flex spending account. Handles special benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, and courteousresolution. Maintains contact in person, by phone or mail with insurance carriers and vendors, employees,and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees. Maintain employee benefit files to ensure appropriate paperwork is filed accurately and timelyfor company and its subsidiaries. Assist in the maintenance of enrollment records for all benefit plans. Complies with theprovisions of COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA, and helps prepare data for required plan auditsand tax filings with state and federal agencies. Market the benefits of training and development of employees as a means of continuallyimproving our workforce. Maintains relationships with functional managers to be aware of potential training needs andto help them analyze performance deficiencies with their employees. Ensures effective trainingand return on investment (ROI) through use of multi-level tracking and measurement systems.Recruiting Schedule and manage interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a seamlessand positive experience. Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidate qualificationsand cultural fit. Collaborate closely with other recruiters and leadership to understand staffing needs, rolerequirements, and priorities. Draft precise and error-free job offers, managing the offer process from creation toacceptance. Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding process for new hires. Maintain a high level of contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status andinterview process. Manage application/resume files and ensure compliance with recruitment laws and guidelines. Introduces creative leading edge recruiting techniques to enhance effectiveness, reduce timeto hire and cost per hire and overall customer satisfaction. Prepares staffing budgets, projections, and employment policies, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications / Experience Requirements:**Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in HumanResources with at least 1 year in Recruiting. Must have demonstrated high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Outlook,Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio, and other applications. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring proper grammar,spelling, and punctuation with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated strong analytic and critical thinking skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued bythe US Government. Security clearances may only be granted to US citizens.
