An industry leader for 75 years, we are one of the leading boiler room equipment providers in the Southwest, specializing in the design and equipment selection of boilers, burners, tanks, control systems and pump systems. We are looking for a Sales Engineer who will engage in consultations with both potential and existing customers, focusing on the sales of boilers, burner sales, and spare parts. A typical day in this role involves project management, technical support, and sales activities. Responsibilities

PRODUCT / ENGINEERING

·         Lead Patriot Product team on advancing technologies, share and train internally

·         Provides mentorship/guidance on technology and competitive trends to clients, partners, and employees

·         Complex pre-sales technical support

·         Investigate concerns implement corrective action and communicate with customers and co-workers as necessary to maximize customer satisfaction

SALES

·         Drive topline revenue by interacting with prospective customers when called upon

·         Develop and grow relationships with contractors, project engineers and manufacturers

·         Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis

·         Communicate with owners, architects, MEP Consultants and General, Mechanical and Electrical Contractors

·         Read, understand and interpret building plans & specifications

·         Provide technical sales support for all Patriot products and solutions

·         Performs a high-level specialized systems engineering role as an individual contributor specializing in pre-sales activities

·         Performs in-depth and technical presentations for customers, partners, and events

MARKETING

·         Contribute to content development for websites and social media sites

·         Attend and participate in local association, chapter meetings. Potential speaker as SME

Qualifications

·         At least 2 years of experience with technical support, sales, boiler systems or mechanical systems

·         Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or similar field

·         Experience in the boiler or steam equipment industry is highly desirable

·         Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

·         Strong written and verbal communications skills, and effective technical presentation skills

·         Understanding of ASME, UL, and NFPA codes and standards is a plus

Compensation

·         Competitive compensation package based on qualifications, skills, and experience (range $80-$90k/yr)
