Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, driven Sales Leader to build and lead our sales department. This is a foundational role for a growing company with a strong reputation and expanding market presence. You will be responsible for acquiring new business, developing scalable sales systems, and helping us grow beyond our core multi-family market into commercial real estate and other sectors. You’ll work directly with the owner and leadership team to shape the future of our sales function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the sales department, including systems, processes, and performance metrics
  • Acquire and manage new accounts, with a focus on commercial real estate and underserved markets
  • Collaborate with operations and finance to ensure margin-conscious selling and service alignment
  • Develop proposals and pricing strategies based on gross profit targets
  • Leverage supplier relationships and third-party marketing efforts to generate leads
  • Represent Red Rocks Fire with professionalism, integrity, and warmth
  • Support long-term transition of existing accounts from the owner as the department scales

Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales and business development, ideally in service-based or technical industries
  • Experience building or scaling a sales function or team
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of acquiring and growing new business
  • Ability to manage margin and performance-based compensation structures
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Cultural alignment: collaborative, family-oriented, and committed to accountability
  • Fire protection or life safety industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • Valid driver’s license; open to travel within Colorado as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $80,000–$95,000
  • Incentive potential: no cap
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance provided
