We’ve partnered with a high-growth, publicly traded household brand to hire a sharp, strategic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This is a critical leadership role overseeing company-wide P&L consolidation, cash flow planning, workforce forecasting, and cross-functional financial alignment. The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will be hands-on, high-visibility, and central to decision-making. The right candidate combines strong financial acumen with operational instincts and thrives in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full P&L consolidation, from top-line revenue through net income, including monthly reporting, variance analysis, and executive-ready outputs.
  • Drive and manage the full FP&A calendar, budgets, reforecasts, strategic plans, ensuring timeliness and precision.
  • Lead compensation planning and payroll forecasting; manage bonus accruals and partner closely with HR and Accounting.
  • Oversee company-wide cash flow modeling and forecasting in collaboration with Treasury and Controllership.
  • Build and maintain high-quality financial models, decks, and reporting tools.
  • Support customer and channel-level revenue analysis, sell-through, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Ensure planning assumptions are aligned with actuals, owning expense forecasting and driving budget discipline.
  • Partner with IT and Data teams to improve reporting infrastructure and output quality.
  • Contribute to BOD decks, monthly business reviews, and strategic presentations.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with clear financial direction, risk/opportunity framing, and decision support.
  • Uphold the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional accountability.

 

About You

  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
  • Experience in public company environments, CPG or consumer product backgrounds preferred.
  • CPA or public accounting experience a plus.
  • Expert in Excel modeling; familiarity with NetSuite is a huge plus.
  • Obsessed with accuracy and detail, but able to zoom out to strategic implications.
  • Team-first mentality with high standards, a sense of urgency, and a bias for action
This is an onsite role in NYC.
 
Compensation range $185,000 - $230,000 + bonus + more!
