Well-established, private equity-backed company in the high-end home improvement space is seeking a Business Intelligence Financial Analyst to join its finance team in a newly created role. The company is known for its strong operational performance and design-forward offerings. This is not your typical FP&A position. The right candidate will be technically hands-on, fluent in financial modeling, and excited by the challenge of pulling raw data from legacy systems to build dashboards and drive insight. You’ll partner directly with the CFO on high-impact projects including cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, pricing analysis, and operational reporting.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, pricing analysis, and performance tracking.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from a legacy ERP system to enable real-time insights.
- Develop and maintain Power BI or Tableau dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Support cash flow forecasting and other ad hoc strategic projects with the CFO.
- Analyze operational and financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally to support inventory planning, margin enhancement, and SKU-level reporting.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or a hybrid FP&A/IT-facing role.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills.
- Strong command of Power BI or Tableau (required.)
- Experience working with ERP systems and manually extracting data into Excel.
- A proactive, resourceful mindset with a passion for turning raw data into actionable insight.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with high visibility to executive leadership.
