We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join our team and lead our financial operations with precision and innovation. Your Role:

  • Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, cost, and inventory accounting. Ensure compliance with GAAP or other accounting standards, and manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and monitor annual budgets, providing forecasts and financial planning to support strategic decisions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity for business operations, optimizing working capital management.
  • ERP System Management: Ensure the financial modules of the ERP system align with company practices, leveraging its capabilities for budget management and financial forecasting.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and monitor internal financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including tax filings.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Work alongside departmental heads to provide financial guidance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Support: Provide financial insights to the leadership team, identifying risks and opportunities for business growth.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management, with a minimum of 2 years in a controller role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in enterprise accounting software (Dynamics 365 is a plus) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and HR-related processes.
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized company and with financial modeling is a plus.
