A prestigious international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation Practice Group. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cutting-edge legal issues involving copyright, trademark, trade secret, false advertising, and artificial intelligence litigation. The practice regularly represents leading technology companies and household brands in high-profile cases across federal and state courts, the ITC, and arbitral proceedings.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 2–5 years of substantive experience in trademarkcopyrightadvertising, and technology-related litigation and enforcement
  • Experience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred:
    • Lanham Act, Copyright Act, DMCA, federal and state trade-secret statutes, and computer-access laws such as the CFAA
  • Trial experience and familiarity with AI-related litigation or data-collection disputes are a plus
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and adept at managing complex, fast-paced matters for technology clients
  • Soft Skills: Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage discovery and e-discovery processes, are essential

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of intellectual property and technology litigation matters, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, false advertising, and AI-related disputes
  • Develop litigation strategy and provide counsel on enforcement and risk assessment for technology clients
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other complex legal documents
  • Handle discovery, including coordination with clients and vendors for e-discovery management
  • Participate in trials, hearings, and proceedings before federal and state courts, the ITC, TTAB, and arbitral forums
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior attorneys to deliver innovative legal solutions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation: Expected annual salary range of $235,000-$365,000, as determined by experience and market factors
