ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - LITIGATION

 

Location: Philadelphia, PA - NEW YORK BAR LICENSE REQUIRED.

Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms®, is seeking a highly-motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Philadelphia team remotely, assisting with their New York casework. This role provides an exciting opportunity to handle a range of sophisticated litigation matters, working on cutting-edge legal issues for interesting clients across multiple industries, while also enjoying the flexibility of a fully-remote role.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
  • 2+ years of substantive experience in commercial litigation and/or general liability litigation
  • Experience with mass tortsclass actions, and/or professional liability defense is a plus
  • Strong litigation and case management skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters independently
  • Desire to be part of a busy national practice, demonstrating initiative and the ability to assume responsibility for matters
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Remotely support the firm's Philadelphia office, assisting with their New York casework
  • Counsel clients during all stages of complex commercial litigation and/or general liability litigation
  • Contribute to the handling of mass torts, class actions, and professional liability defense matters
  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, supporting discovery, and preparing for trial
  • Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $130,000 – $190,000, as determined by experience and market factors
  • Bonus eligibility
