SR. PRODUCT LIABILITY PRACTICE ATTORNEY / non-partnership track

 

Locations: Los Angeles, CA | San Diego, CA | Remote (Depending on Location)

 

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Practice Attorney to join its nationally acclaimed Product Liability Practice Group. This off-track position is based in the firm’s San Diego or Los Angeles offices, with fully remote candidates also being considered depending on the location. If you’re passionate about complex litigation, but need the flexibility of a lower billable hour requirementthis is a rare and exciting opportunity.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • 3+ years of substantive experience in product liability law or equivalent complex litigation experience.

  • Experience handling matters involving consumer products, aviation products, or mass torts is preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong legal research and analytical capabilities.

  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, high-stakes litigation environments.

  • Strong references required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the firm’s Product Liability Practice Group in representing major consumer brands and national/international manufacturers in high-profile litigation.

  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including research, discovery, motion practice, and case strategy.

  • Collaborate with a team of more than 70 experienced attorneys across the firm’s offices on complex product liability and mass tort matters.

  • Draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and strategic insight.

  • Provide excellent client service and contribute to the group’s nationally ranked reputation.

The firm offers competitive compensation, with a salary ranging from $180,000 to $205,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
