Job Title: Semi-Skilled General LaborerLocation: Corunna, MI

Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated Semi-Skilled General Laborer to join our team. This is a multifaceted position where you will assist fabricators and machine operators, handle materials, and receive hands-on training to operate our automated saw. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with metal and a strong interest in growing their skills within a supportive and stable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist fabricators and machine operators with daily tasks

• Perform material handling and organization of shop materials

• Learn and operate automated saw equipment

• Use measuring tools (tape measure) to ensure accuracy in production

• Safely operate a forklift to move and stage materials

• Support general shop operations as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately

• Forklift driving experience required

• Previous experience working with metal, such as welding or processing (press brake, saw, shear, etc.)

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $16 per hour

• Pay increase potential after 90 days to $17–$18/hour depending on skill level

• Full benefits package, including matched retirement fund benefits

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Overtime and weekend work is rare but may be required a few times per year based on workload
