Job Title: Registered Nurse

Role Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will be working under the supervision of the unit Supervisor/Manager and be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Duties and Responsibilities

·       Assess the physical, psychological, and social needs of each patient upon admission and complete a written assessment quickly.

·       Identify patient needs and formulate a care plan to be implemented within 24 hours of admission.

·       Teach patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and care by answering any questions.

·       Build rapport with patients, family and staff to ensure a collabrotive environment.

 

Qualifications and Skills

·       Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or anticipated graduation within 4 months of hire date.

·       RN license from Michigan or must successfully complete the NCLEX withing 6 months of graduation date.

·       Replated experience preferred, but not required.

·       Current certification in AHA-BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Essential Physical Abilities/Motor Skills

·       Standing/walking for majority of your shift.

·       Able to travel independently to other facilities.

·       Regular lifting of medical supplies, medications, CPR and other medical equipment as well as assist in lifting/transporting patients.

·       Proficiency with computer, telephone and EMR systems.
