Overview
A fast-growing technology organization is seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Lead to architect, build, and optimize its next-generation entitlement and license management platform for B2B software and services. This role is ideal for a technical leader who can design scalable enterprise solutions, guide development teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to create modern, efficient, and secure licensing experiences for global customers.

In this hybrid role (3 days onsite), you'll partner closely with product, engineering, architecture, and business teams to drive innovation in post-sales monetization, software distribution, and entitlement lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s B2B software licensing models and monetization strategies.

• Become the subject matter expert for the enterprise licensing platform and champion best practices across teams.

• Lead the full implementation lifecycle of the entitlement and licensing solution—from design to deployment.

• Work with cross-functional partners to design, refine, and optimize entitlement workflows for software products.

• Resolve day-to-day operational and technical challenges related to the licensing platform.

• Integrate entitlement systems with core enterprise platforms, including ERP and backend services.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects to align solutions with long-term technology goals and standards.

• Deliver clear communication and documentation for global business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 8+ years of experience with core computer science concepts, algorithms, and system design

• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or medium-to-large development initiatives

• Expertise in designing enterprise IT solutions using commercial and custom-built systems

• Experience developing applications that integrate with backend ERP or enterprise platforms

• Knowledge of customer-facing application architectures and performance considerations

• Proficiency in backend scripting languages such as Node.js or Python

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (storage, caching, API Gateway, IAM, RBAC)

• Understanding of privacy and compliance standards (PII, GDPR, CFR, etc.)

• Strong passion for system performance, speed, and optimization

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Ability to convert requirements into detailed technical design and documentation

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and team facilitation skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications 

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a compelling way

• Interest or experience with GenAI, Agentic AI frameworks, or modern automation tools
