KIT Recruitment continues to engage in a positive, fulfilling relationship with this well-known Food Manufacturer in the London, Ontario area and we are actively looking for Sanitation Workers. Please note this is a hybrid position which means you will be functioning as a production associate 60% of the time and a Sanitation Associate 40% of the time and will receive the wage reflective of which role you are fulfilling. This is a permanent, direct hire. You are on the company’s payroll from day one!

The Sanitation Worker will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitization schedule of the manufacturing plant and its specified areas.

Sanitation Worker Details:
*Schedule is provided 2 weeks in advance.

Schedule: A-Shift (start between 1am - 9:45am)(Scheduled 4 days a week between Monday-Saturday)
B-Shift (11:30am - 8:15pm), 10hr shift, Flexible (Scheduled 4 days a week between Monday-Saturday)
Production Associate: Probationary wage, $20.56 after probation $22.85
Sanitation Associate: $21.60/hr 70 shifts (probationary period) $24.00/hr after probation
Additional +$0.75 shift premium for any hours worked between 7pm-5am.
Benefits after Probationary Period
3% RRSP contribution by employer after probationary period
2 Weeks Holidays

Sanitation Worker Responsibilities:

Cleaning/sanitization of the manufacturing plant and its specified rooms or areas
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility in a manner that prevents contamination of the food products by physical, chemical, and biological contaminants
Use of a pressure/power washer machine
Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position
Prepare materials and ensure all duties are completed for employees coming in for the next shift
Labour intensive position requiring repetitive tasks and standing for long periods

Working at heights as needed

Other duties shall be assigned as required

Sanitation Worker Qualifications

Must be comfortable working at heights when needed
Good attendance record and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience in a Food or Beverage Manufacturing environment considered an asset
Experience with industrial sanitation an asset
