Our new client — the #1 name in custom window coverings across North America — is growing in North Bay and surrounding areas and looking for a Sales & Installation Specialist who knows how to turn conversations into connections (and connections into sales).

You’ll meet customers in their homes, uncover their needs and style, and guide them toward custom window solutions that fit beautifully — in look, function, and budget. You’ll quote, close, and follow through by coordinating installation to perfection.

If you’re driven by results, motivated by commission, and love seeing customers light up when they love what you’ve delivered, this role is for you.

 

Sales & Installation Specialist - details:

  • Compensation: Base + commission (up to $100K)
  • Location: North Bay, ON + surrounding area (home-based; client visits)
  • Travel: Company vehicle or mileage provided
  • Leads: Provided — no cold calling
  • Training: Online modules + vendor support; shadowing with installers

 

Sales & Installation Specialist  – Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home consultations: needs discovery, design advice, sample demos, and on-site quoting with a goal to close on site
  • Measure accurately; submit precise orders; track jobs through to install
  • Upsell / cross-sell (additional rooms, motorization, accessories) while on site
  • Document calls, quotes, and follow-ups in the CRM; respond promptly to clients
  • Coordinate with installers and escalate technical issues when needed
  • Attend home shows/trade events to represent the brand and generate interest
  • (Optional) After training, perform installs and earn the per-install fee

 

Sales & Installation Specialist  – Qualifications:

  • Lives in / deeply familiar with North Bay and plugged into the community
  • 2+ years in sales or customer-facing roles (home décor, flooring, window coverings, or similar ideal)
  • Consultative communicator: personable, organized, responsive
  • Comfortable measuring, working on ladders, and light lifting (10–20 lb)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract; strong basic math; CRM savvy
  • Nice-to-have: prior window coverings or trades/installs background
