KIT Recruitment is continuing our successful partnership with our client in the agricultural/farming Industry who is looking for a Treasury Manager.

As the Treasury Manager, you will oversee cash flow, manage banking relationships, and implement strategies to mitigate financial risk in the agricultural commodities and supply chain business.

Treasury Manager Details

·        Monday thru Friday – ONSITE – 8am to 5pm

·        3 weeks vacation

·        Salary: $130K - $150K*

Treasury Manager Responsibilities

·        Cash management which includes managing the flow of money, examining and authorizing transfer requests, tracking down payments, creating trading accounts, opening new bank accounts, and maintaining the paperwork associated with each bank and trading account.

·        Provide treasury reports for management, prepare borrowing base reports on a weekly/monthly/annual basis.

·        Execute FX and money market transactions on behalf of the CFO, and analyze potential hedging opportunities.

·        Assist in managing the Company's credit facilities, including booking Banker's Acceptances, Libor loans, tracking interest and fees, reconciling bank charges, etc....

·        Monitor credit limits, outstanding trade credit and contractual exposures, ensure compliance with Company credit risk policies, and prepare credit insurance reports.

·        Manage foreign exchange risk by providing regular reporting, ensuring compliance with foreign exchange risk policy and assisting the CFO with foreign exchange management.

·        Contribute to the accounting department's analysis, report preparation, and auditing tasks.

·        Assist management with virous ad hoc finance-related projects.

 

Treasury Manager Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field. A master’s degree and/or professional designation is an asset.

·        CPA designation required.

·        7-10 years minimum of expertise in risk analysis, treasury, and trade.

·        Knowledge of commodity and foreign exchange risk is required, and experience in international business is an asset.

·        Familiarity with overseeing Treasury operations, such as bank reporting, option and forward execution, and payment processing.

·        Highly detailed oriented and accurate.

·        Showcase outstanding analytical and abstract reasoning abilities, as well as exceptional organizational skills.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics software is required.
