Looking to join a growing flexible-packaging company where your pouch-making expertise directly impacts production success? Our client in Brantford is seeking a Pouch Packaging Specialist to operate advanced pouch, laminator, and flexo press equipment in their modern manufacturing facility.
You’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring high-quality pouch production, supporting machine setup, and maintaining smooth, efficient runs on new, state-of-the-art equipment.
As a Pouch Packaging Specialist, you’ll work closely with the production team to ensure the highest-quality pouches are produced for clients. The role combines mechanical know-how, quality focus, and hands-on operation of modern equipment, including:
· Pouch-making machine: KS-SUP-400-GSW (Karville Swiss)
· Laminator: LME-SF-800 (Web Control, purchased from Karville US)
· Flexographic Press: Nilpeter FA Line 17-inch
Pouch Packaging Specialist Details.
· Permanent, full-time position, located in Brantford, ON.

Pouch Packaging Specialist Responsibilities.
· Set up and operate pouch-making machines to meet daily production targets
· Efficiently package finished product and change rolls/splices as required
· Continuously monitor pouch quality to meet or exceed customer standards
· Maintain accurate quality and production records (QC sheets, run rates, waste)
· Assist with machine setup and adjustments to minimize downtime
· Communicate defective materials or maintenance issues promptly
· Stage equipment and materials for upcoming jobs to maximize efficiency
· Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and ready for next runs
· Recommend workflow improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
· Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and regulatory guidelines
Pouch Packaging Specialist Qualifications.
· Proven experience operating pouching equipment (Karville, Totani, Mamata, CMD, or similar)
· Experience in flexible packaging, lamination, or flexographic production is required
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to maintain production quality and safety standards
· Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
· Must live within commuting distance of Brantford or be willing to relocate
