This top P&C carrier, has an immediate opening for an experienced Commercial, E&S Production Underwriter for Salt Lake City, UT.

This is a remote work assignment.

Company writes a wide variety of commercial P&C products on a non-admitted basis through their own brokerage division and work exclusively with a select group of retail agents across the country. This commercial Production/Field Underwriter will work closely with Producers and Reinsurers.

They will be responsible for the production and management of new and renewal business in their assigned territory, with full authority.

Travel is approximately 25%- 40%, with possible overnight stays.

A clean driving record is required.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in Excess and Surplus underwriting as well as a marketing background. Those with a carrier background are preferred but company will consider those with an MGA background as well.CPCU and/or Bachelors’ degree preferred. Company offers a generous base salary, bonus, excellent health benefits, 6% 401k match, stock grants and options.
