Ascension Search Partners has been engaged by a privately held, middle market services company who are hiring an Assistant Controller to oversee consolidated financial accounting and reporting. The company is growing, both organically and through geographically strategic M&As, and this role will be a key player in implementing best practice accounting processes and procedures to scale as the company continues to expand. Overseeing a growing team, you will be responsible for the monthly/quarterly/annual close process, and key areas such as intercompany, consolidations/eliminations, equity, fixed assets and cash. 

 

The ideal candidate will be a licensed CPA with a mixture of public accounting and industry experience. Strong accounting knowledge with proven experience implementing successful processes in a transformation environment will be key. Strong systems experience with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is required.
