The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end accounting operations of the management company and partner closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day corporate accounting functions including journal entries, payroll, payment processing, and month-end close.
Oversee expense allocations between the firm’s funds and management company.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow, and balance sheets in compliance with US GAAP.
Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.
Collaborate across fund accounting, operations, and investment teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Support external audits and maintain regulatory compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including time in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
Prior experience in a hedge fund, private equity, or asset management setting.
Deep understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting systems.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player with strong communication skills.
