A well regarded family office is growing and seeking an Accountant to join their accounting and finance team.

Overview of Role:

• Assist with financial statement preparation
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and support close processes.
• Track and report on project costs, including capital expenditures and allocations.
• Perform activities related to accounts payable
• Assist with internal financial reporting.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
• Partner closely with internal teams, including operations, development, and asset management, to support business initiatives.
• Track intercompany activity and assist with accounts receivable tracking.
• Assist with cash management.
• Prepare and analyze GL account reconciliations.
• Support investor and lender reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar.
• Close to 2 years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
• Prior experience in a public accounting firm, (preferred).
• Solid understanding of GL and operational accounting best practices and process.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ambitious self starter excited about career growth and working in a dynamic environment.
