We are committed to driving excellence and delivering value to their customers, our client is looking to hire a dynamic Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis to join their high-visibility finance team.
As the Head Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic financial direction of our organization. This senior leadership position involves overseeing the annual planning process, capital expenditure (capex) planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will also manage special projects that require deep financial insight and advanced analytical capabilities. Your role will be crucial in elevating the analytical prowess of our finance function, ensuring robust financial performance, and providing high-level visibility and support to our executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Develop and implement comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Capex & Budget Management: Oversee capex planning and budgeting processes to align with organizational goals and drive effective resource allocation.
- Special Projects: Manage and execute special projects that require advanced financial analysis and modeling, and development of KPIs, while contributing to key strategic initiatives and organizational growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Analytical Excellence: Enhance the organization’s analytical capabilities by leveraging advanced financial modeling techniques and driving data-driven insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Investor Relations and M&A teams to support corporate strategy, communication, and transaction activities.
- Executive Communication: Provide high-level financial analysis and reporting to the executive leadership team, ensuring clear communication of financial performance and strategic implications.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Financial Acumen: Extensive experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals. Demonstrated leadership in driving financial excellence and strategic initiatives.
- Analytical Expertise: Advanced skills in financial analysis and modeling, with the capability to elevate the analytical capabilities of the organization.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial information across all levels of the organization, including senior executives.
- Systems Experience: Experience with financial systems implementation or upgrades is a plus, with a strong understanding of how to leverage technology to enhance financial processes.
- Collaboration: Experience partnering with Investor Relations and M&A teams, demonstrating strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
