Ascension Search Partners has been engaged by a global, publicly traded manufacturing company who are hiring a Controller for their Dallas location.

This flagship location is growing exponentially, and necessitates a strong accounting and finance leader with extensive high tech manufacturing industry experience to partner with plant leadership. The Controller will be instrumental in driving results and optimizing financial performance through accurate accounting records, strategic decision-making, process improvements, and effective cost management.

This role offers a significant growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding facility, with the chance to truly make an impact. Compensation package includes LTIs and bonus has historically paid out at almost double target due to company's strong performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting function to support plant operations and corporate objectives
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and compliance processes
  • Deliver financial analysis, forecasts, and reports to support executive decision-making
  • Partner with leadership on pricing, investment decisions, and profitability analysis
  • Drive improvements to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Support statutory reporting and regulatory compliance where applicable
  • Build financial models to evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Align financial systems and tools with operational needs across business units
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across global teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA/CMA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience in large, highly complex manufacturing plants
  • Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence strategic outcomes
  • Experience in a global or multi-site environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work onsite in the Dallas plant
