Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, outside sales Account Manager to lead business development and client management efforts in the Seattle, WA region. This role is critical to expanding our presence in the area and will represent a full range of commercial flooring services — including planning, product selection, installation, and replacement — with operational and estimating support from our company headquarters in Kent, WA. A strong understanding of the local construction and commercial real estate market is essential for success.
 
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and end-users in the Seattle, WA area. Identify and pursue project opportunities in commercial, institutional, and public-sector markets. Act as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through project completion. Conduct job site visits, participate in pre-construction and coordination meetings, and ensure clear communication between clients and internal teams. Coordinate with Kent-based estimators, project managers, and operations staff to deliver timely and competitive project proposals. Track regional project developments and bidding opportunities, building a consistent sales pipeline. Promote and commitment to integrity, quality, and service.

  • Life Sciences
  • Healthcare
  • Tennant Improvement
  • Auto Dealerships
  • Industrial & Warehousing
  • Hospitality
 
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, construction project coordination, or account management in commercial flooring, construction, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of the Seattle, WA commercial construction market and surrounding areas. Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple active projects and build long-term client relationships. Willingness to travel locally for site visits and meetings. Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM or construction management software experience is a plus.
