The Role

Generative AI is increasingly central to how we approach our products. We've spent the last few years exploring its potential across various domains, and we’re now looking to deepen its integration into our platform.

We’re searching for a Senior Software Developer – GenAI to help build robust, scalable, and meaningful generative experiences, particularly for real-world healthcare applications.

You will:

• Design and develop GenAI-powered features—from chat-based interfaces to autonomous workflows.

• Collaborate with the R&D team to transform prototypes into production-ready features.

• Work alongside engineers to evolve the underlying platform supporting GenAI experiences.

• Improve performance through prompt refinement and, where needed, model fine-tuning.

• Build APIs and tools to make GenAI features accessible to third-party developers and partners.

• Work with both textual and vector databases to tune retrieval and relevance performance.

• Monitor user interactions and suggest product improvements grounded in real-world usage.

• Stay current on advancements in generative AI and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

• Ensure privacy, security, and compliance are baked into everything we build—especially with healthcare regulations in mind (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

You should have:

• Significant experience in software development using languages such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java (we use Go extensively).

• Experience building and integrating LLM-powered features in production environments.

• A strong grasp of how LLMs work—their capabilities, limitations, and how to harness them effectively.

• Practical experience with prompt engineering and ideally some exposure to fine-tuning techniques (e.g., SFT, PPO, DPO, or GRPO).

• Experience working with textual and vector search technologies (e.g., ElasticSearch, Vespa).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployment on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems like Grafana and Prometheus.

• Bonus: Experience handling regulated data or working in healthcare-related environments.
