We are seeking experienced Indirect Procurement Consultants with well-rounded expertise. The Consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities and requirements, and help define initiatives to support overall objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leverage deep knowledge in Indirect Procurement categories, including the development of sourcing strategies, strategic supplier relationship management, and performance management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct market research to support category strategies and sourcing activities, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Manage supplier performance and relationship processes, including leading Executive Business Reviews where applicable.
  • Support internal stakeholders in identifying and addressing potential sourcing risks, coordinating with relevant risk management experts to develop mitigation plans when necessary.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders.

Required Education, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS or MBA) in a scientific or business-related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulated environments and associated procurement practices.
  • Mindset geared toward innovation and AI-readiness, with enthusiasm for leveraging emerging technologies in services procurement.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach; able to navigate ambiguity and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Strong grasp of risk management frameworks, tools, and assessment methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex supplier negotiations and driving alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation capabilities; able to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build and sustain trusted business relationships.
