Oracle EDW Architect with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
Location: Carson, CA (Onsite initially, hybrid/remote flexibility after 2-3 months)
Summary/Objective
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EDW Architect with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to lead the development, configuration, and maintenance of a NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) data warehouse. This critical role will integrate data from 12+ applications to deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards for divisions like Warehouse, Transportation, and CFS. As a bridge between IT and business units, you’ll drive data initiatives, ensure system performance, and align data strategies with organizational goals. This is a long-term, hands-on position for someone passionate about owning a strategic data system.
Essential Functions

Build and Configure the Data Warehouse: Lead the discovery and configuration of NSAW, integrating 12+ applications (e.g., NetSuite, Manhattan, Trinium, FourKites, Samsara) via APIs and flat files.

Develop Reports and Dashboards: Create custom reports and dashboards for business units, ensuring usability with NSAW’s Power BI-like interface.

Maintain and Optimize: Perform ongoing updates, maintenance, and performance optimization of the data warehouse, integrating new applications as needed.

Data Integration and Modeling: Design robust data models and ETL pipelines to support reporting and analytics, ensuring scalability and performance.

Collaborate and Communicate: Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Warehouse, Transportation, Finance) to translate data into insights, acting as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders.

Ensure Compliance and Security: Enforce data governance, security measures (e.g., role-based access), and compliance with regulations like GDPR/CCPA.

Train and Support Users: Provide training, troubleshooting, and best practices to end-users, fostering effective system use.

Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive projects like system migrations and integrations, proposing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

5+ years of data warehousing experience, with expertise in Oracle NADW or NSAW.

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, data modeling, and ETL tools.

Experience integrating multiple systems (e.g., APIs, flat files) into a data warehouse.

Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle BI, or Power BI-like tools.

Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices.

Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Understanding of supply chain operations (e.g., warehouse, transportation, logistics) is a plus.
