Join a dynamic and fast-paced IT team as an IT Enterprise Operations Engineer responsible for ensuring efficient, secure, and scalable enterprise infrastructure. This role involves both strategic and hands-on responsibilities across network design, implementation, monitoring, and support. You’ll contribute to system stability, performance optimization, and modernization initiatives across a distributed enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support network performance and systems availability across production and development environments

  • Participate in architectural reviews and ensure standards, scalability, and sustainability are upheld

  • Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches to improve network/system operations

  • Perform hardware lifecycle management: installation, configuration, upgrades, and recovery

  • Conduct daily system monitoring, data backups, and disaster recovery tasks

  • Troubleshoot advanced issues across network hardware, applications, and system infrastructure

  • Author technical documentation and contribute to internal governance standards

  • Mentor junior engineers in network operations and architecture

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support enterprise IT initiatives and end-user service delivery

  • Participate in change controls and support after-hours/emergency tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise network/system administration

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS)

  • Expertise in routing, switching, and firewall technologies (e.g., Aruba, Juniper, Cisco)

  • Deep understanding of SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VoIP, SIP, and RF design

  • Experience with CLI tools, OSI model, VLANs, and subnetting

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring tools and packet analysis

  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments (2012R2 and above)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise networks across 200+ sites

  • Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Palo Alto, Aruba Airwave/Central/ClearPass

  • Involvement in large-scale network upgrade or deployment projects

  • Understanding of enterprise storage protocols (iSCSI, FCoE)

  • AWS Associate-level certification
