We are seeking experienced Procurement Manager with well-rounded expertise to support strategic sourcing initiatives across indirect categories. The Consultant will work closely with business partners to understand their needs and define targeted procurement strategies that drive value, ensure compliance, and optimize supplier performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bring deep experience in Business Services Procurement, particularly across indirect categories such as professional services, consulting, marketing, and IT.

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Conduct market research and distill findings into relevant, actionable insights to support sourcing and category strategy development.

  • Manage supplier performance and relationship management processes, including organizing and leading executive business reviews.

  • Identify procurement-related risks and coordinate with relevant subject matter experts to assess and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Lead complex contract negotiations in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., business units, finance, legal).

Required Education, Experience, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree (MS or MBA) in a scientific, technical, or business discipline is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of procurement in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, biotech, or pharma).

  • Forward-thinking mindset with a keen interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance procurement strategies and service delivery.

  • Proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in ambiguous or evolving environments while offering innovative, practical solutions.

  • Working knowledge of risk management processes, tools, and metrics.

  • Proven track record of managing complex supplier negotiations and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to deliver insights and track execution.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the organization.

  • Team-oriented and collaborative; skilled at developing trust-based relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
