Position Summary

The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Sr. BSA) bridges business needs with technology, providing support and guidance to business stakeholders and development teams. This role involves process analysis, business requirements definition, strategic project involvement, and oversight of complex initiatives. The Sr. BSA acts as a liaison between subject matter experts and IT, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.

Additionally, the Sr. BSA mentors junior team members, leads testing efforts, manages User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and oversees deployment communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities, aligning them with strategic goals.
  • Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with QA teams on testing, UAT, and issue resolution to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate communication between business teams, IT, and leadership.
  • Mentor junior analysts and support training efforts for end users.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, and system implementation.
  • Experience with ERP systems (including SaaS-based solutions).
  • Preferred experience in ERP implementation/migration, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Treasury applications.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Expertise in Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, workflow analysis, and software documentation tools.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Understanding of data systems, databases, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in UAT, QA testing, and deployment planning.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
