Role Overview:

The IT Communications & Digital Marketing Analyst will serve as the key liaison for internal communications within the IT Department. This role bridges IT initiatives and business audiences through clear, effective messaging across digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of communications, digital marketing, and project coordination experience — with a passion for simplifying complex technical information into audience-friendly content.

This person will play a central role in ensuring successful communication strategies for IT projects, outages, deployments, and departmental updates. They will also support internal marketing initiatives like IT newsletters, Town Halls, and intranet content, helping foster alignment, transparency, and engagement across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute internal communication strategies for the IT department, including content planning, drafting, editing, and distribution across appropriate channels.

  • Develop clear, concise communications for IT-related events, including system outages, project updates, Town Hall meetings, and deployment notices.

  • Manage and maintain IT intranet pages and internal content repositories, ensuring content is current and engaging.

  • Support project teams by preparing communication plans and presentation materials for project reporting at all levels (individual, departmental, executive).

  • Coordinate and assist with deployment activities, ensuring effective communication and alignment across stakeholders.

  • Partner closely with IT leaders to understand initiatives and recommend communication approaches to improve visibility and adoption.

  • Track and maintain a content calendar and communication tracker to ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Design and deliver visually compelling presentations and newsletters using PowerPoint and other tools.

  • Provide after-hours communication coverage when required for critical IT updates.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.

  • Perform additional communications-related tasks and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or related roles.

  • Experience in healthcare, dental, managed care, or retail industry is a plus.

  • Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content for non-technical audiences.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Experience creating and managing internal newsletters, events, and digital communication programs.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Confluence, and Jira preferred.

  • Knowledge of change management principles and project management methodologies (Agile or Waterfall) is a plus.

  • Creative thinker with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.

 

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $90,000
  • Bonus eligible
  • Full-time, benefits eligible
