Our client is a clinical research organization involved in early stage R&D, involving the use of laboratory animals. They require a Veterinary Pathologist to be responsible for the pathological evaluation of animals, previously administered with test substances, in accordance with GLP.

Salary commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise necropsies, evaluate histological slides and prepare pathology reports.
  • Interact with toxicologists on scientific matters.
  • Interact with clients and representatives of governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in seminars, conferences and other activities to keep abreast of scientific developments in Pathology.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • D.V.M. and American College of Veterinary Pathologist certification is a must. (ACVP).
  • Or eligible and willing to pass the ACVP exam.
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. or Residency in Pathology. Prefer Canadian degrees.
  • New grads welcome.
  • Relocation available (Canada) only).
