INSTRUMENT CLINICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Summary:Seeking a Clinical Technology Advisor / Clinical Application Support Specialist to support and train customers on the use of the company’s medical instruments, ensuring customer satisfaction. This CAS role involves system installations, validations, education, and regulatory guidance. 80% travel across Canada.

RESPONSIBITLIES:

  • Install, validate, and train users on medical instruments both locally and in other regions as assigned.
  • Serve as the main clinical and technical resource for customers, ensuring proper product usage and satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing customer education and support on compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate go-live procedures.
  • Demonstrate products and participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of company products and stay informed about competitors.
  • Work with tech support, sales, customer service departments.
  • Support sales initiatives and help identify growth opportunities within current accounts.
  • Utilize data management tools and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or related field required; Associate Degree but Bachelor's preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a clinical or lab environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of ELISA and IFA / immunofluorescence technologies / antigen antibody chemistry preferred.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
