Montreal-based, rapidly growing 'new drug' testing CRO and chemical safety testing company requires a Territory Manager to sell their new safe and non-animal in vitro tests into the pesticide, cosmetics, and agrochemical industries. You will be French / English bilingual, and used to reporting in to a VP. Your mandate will be to establish and maintain new customer accounts and relationships. Previous experience with these biochemicals nice to have - CRO background essential.
 
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Business development re new accounts and customers in these new markets - cosmetic, agrochemical, and pesticide.
  • Actively develop sales and marketing strategies to promote new services to potential new customers.
  • Work with other account managers.  
  • Meet prospective customers, make presentations, attend trade shows, create relationships.
  • Budgets, proposals, contracts, negotiations, account management.
  • On site, with 1 day work from home - may be amended over time.

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.Sc. (Life Sciences, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry Biotechnology).
  • Any management or sales education great to have.
  • Min 3 to 4 years working in business development in a CRO.
  • Able to travel as required - require valid passport and driver's license.
  • ***Strong French and English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, professional, team player skills.
  • Must be willing to live in Greater Montreal area - relocation offered across Canada.
  • Experience within either of the industrial pesticide, chemical or agrochemical arenas of interest - nice to have.
  • Knowledge of OECD skin and eye in vitro safety testing of great interest.
