In this role you will have full oversight for the day-to-day operations of the Team consisting of 12-15 brokers. You will also have the ability to do the account reconciliation, AP & AR, as well as service a book of clients, when necessary
This role is an in-office position their BOWMANVILLE location. Actual salary at time of offer will depend on overall level of experience.
So, What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?
Train workers in duties and policies when required Prepare and submit reports when requested Ensure smooth operation of equipment Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measuresto improve productivity and product quality Co-ordinate, assign and review work Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Arrange for maintenance and repair work Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments Schedule holidays in conjunction with other departments and OIN rules Strong leadership to coach and mentor a positive work environment. Recruit and train team members to ensure high performance andcontinuous professional development. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand branch sales targets andgoals. Oversee day-to-day branch operations of the team, including underwritingand back office. Experience and strong knowledge of Insurance Brokerage operations. RIBO licensed Possession of insurance designations
